I've always been interested in shooting. Back before we were forced to move from my dream boyhood home by eminent domain, my brother and me shot 22 rifles all the time. But the moved completely disrupted and interrupted our lives. I never got back into it until just a couple years ago when a neighbor showed his air rifle then down the rabbit hole I went. First it was break barrels, then I got my first PCP, an Armada which was a magnitude of difference than the break barrels. But then, I wanted longer ranger and greater accuracy, enter my FX 22 and 30 cal Mavericks. Love those rifles. Love shooting varmints with them, but the tuning part a little tedious. Like to get a 177 and at least a 50 cal big bore to round out my arsenal. When I start something, I like to be the best I can be at it. My father had a quote every time one us kids said we couldn't do something. H e would say, "Kill can''t, till you can!" Use to infuriate the hell out of me when he said that to me, now I wish he was still around to share more of his wisdom. My father was part of the Greatest Generation winning WWII so that we may all be free today. He was a twice recipient of the Purple Heart, because he was a better shot then they were. RIP Dad!
