Frankly I think the DRS needs a little more weight for offhand shooting. Preferably in the front but that wouldn’t be possible unless you replace the FX barrel with a larger solid barrel Or a steel shroud. Nice work Loren. Hope you sell a lot of them. But I wish you had made a mid size plentum...

I’ll add if your tearing o-rings on your DRS probe take The stock off and check the inside edges of the holes. Mine had a sharp burr that was cutting the orings. I sanded the edges smooth and have no problems since.

Sounds like FX has figured out the optimum plentum volume with this tactical version. We can still use a smaller sized plentum for the classic stocked version with the volume of this tactical version. I have the HP plentum with wood plugs but do not like the look and feel of the huge magazine...

A solid block of maple with that type of curl I call flame curl. I often thought it would look cool to dye it with an alcohol’ based red dye so it would look like it was on fire.

I have mine bedded all the way but you could also have the block bedded and just bed the end of the forearm to support the barrel. This is how a lot of PB rifles with synthetic stocks are made. I think the barrel should be bedded to the stock on the DRS . Just makes the whole platform solid...
