    Texan carbine/horrible accuracy

I use swagged pro slugs in my big bores, they seem to be consistent. One thing that helped me out was using the patch worm cleaning system. Keeping my bore clean was a major contribution to my accuracy. Good luck!

When I am sighting in or checking zero i use single shot tray. The only time I use a magazine is when I am hunting. To me either way will do.

This is my HP max .457 that started as a .510. Could not get it to group with 10" or 22" barrel. Bought a .457 barrel kit and it shots so much better. I have a HP max .30 that is very accurate. Fingers crossed no problem.

All my fills when testing .510 barrel were around 4300 psi.

I haven't shot my .457 barrel over chrony yet. My .510 barrel was shooting 400 plus with cf bottle and original tank. Fpe was about the same. For my gun it did not restrict any air flow. We currently have a foot of snow and hope to do some testing when the wheather clears.

Haven't had a chance to run it across the chrony. I would guess first shot at least 400 fpe. I hope to test it soon as the whaether gets better.

Here's a 6 shot group sight in at 50 yards. Pro slug 195 LH FD swagged. 3 shots to bottom was sighting in.

If you buy same caliber barrel you just have to change barrel. Pretty easy!

Just shot the .457 at 30 yards and I like it much better so far. The pro slugs(205gr) on the left did the best. Mr HP 216 grains on top were a close second. AEA 243 grain came in third.

It was pretty easy. You have to take the stock off. There is a little Allen head screw in the back if bolt you back off some to pull bolt handle off. There is a small screw on side of bolt you take off. Not to bad.
