Arizona State "Spring Fling in the Desert" Piston Championship - April 18 & 19, 2025

Better than blowing out orings in your pcp and not knowing it........plus, you don't have to refill halfway through the match. The only way that you break springs is by.........."gasp"..........practiciing!.....a lot! That cannot be a bad thing. I get inside my piston gun every one to two...

Arizona State "Spring Fling in the Desert" Piston Championship - April 18 & 19, 2025

Well, the Spring Fling is only about 3 weeks away and the entrants are growing. I am looking forward to this, especially because we get to remember Mike Smith, who hated "springer dingers" up until he actually got one. We will have fun.

Spring(ers) have Sprung at Diablo's March 16th Field Target match today

I am glad to hear that springers are making a comeback. It is a fun and accurate powerplant if someone wants to take the time to learn the gun. I prefer to shoot piston over PCP.

Spring(ers) have Sprung at Diablo's March 16th Field Target match today

Hey Jim, Our Tuesday TRAC match is forecast as 15 mph winds out of the WNW with possible gusts to 30 mph. As a bonus target, I am going to set a 1/2" target at 55 yards and listen to the grumbling that may generate. Should be fun, regardless. I will let you know if anyone drops it. Mark

Spring(ers) have Sprung at Diablo's March 16th Field Target match today

Jim! What were you thinking......1/2" at 55 Yards? HA............gonna have to try that to see if it is even doable. It is nice to see that 1/3 of the field was piston shooters....so near and dear to my own heart. We need more springer shooters! Spread the word. Mark

The 2024 World Field Target Championship Experience

Nice write up, Tyler.....and welcome to Arizona and our weird, squirrely winds. It does not take much, but if you can shoot here, you can shoot anywhere. And to think, we do this every week at our TRAC matches. Fun stuff. Good to see you again, my friend. I hope you enjoyed your visit to the...
