This right here. There are two screws on the trigger guard. One big one and a little one that requires different sized screw driver bits. There are also two on the stock near the front of the rifle. I recommend using blue locktite on the screws to stop them from backing out.

Nice shot! Polymags really put the smack down on pests. I suck at shooting so I use bait on the ground. I put the bait at the bottom of a tree or the base of a hill or berm. That way if I miss, I am not risking a bad shot. YMMV.

Thanks for all the replies, everything worked out OK with the new Vortek kit. I did some testing over the weekend and tried the JSB RS 7.3's and the H&N Terminator 7.25's. The speed was up to the 650's and FPE was up to over 7. Was way too windy to enjoy shooting it this weekend so I triple...

The cocking cycle is so easy there doesn't seem to be a load on the HW30. Not like my HW50, it starts with a load and keeps getting harder.

I lost 100 fps and my spring was about an inch shorter. I put a new Vortek kit and VAC seal in it to fix it. Right at 7 fpe with JSB RS or H&N Terminators now.

Another vote for Sightron. Impressive optics for the cost. Simple reticle. Very clear and bright.
