    Air Venturi Avenge bullpup question

Yep...no use in taxing ALL of the o-rings for no reason ! Store uncocked . I also try to store with the cylinder pressure just above the regulator setting (lower than full pressure) vs. full pressure. Again, no use in taxing the o-rings. Mike

FX Maverick Sniper vs Compact - What's your choice?

Compact. Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my first post. Mike

N/A Looking for a compact .22 PCP for woods walking

Comeon...just toss a coin..! Your "in consideration" guns are all quality guns and will serve you well. Grow a pair and just pick one ! What if you go by someone else's decision, and you aren't happy ? JUST PICK ONE......................... Mike

    Taipan The Saharan Mutant

Though factory done on my Brocock Sahara, yeah, the color is growing on me too. After going through a "shortening" operation, I repainted the shroud, and Huma M30 muffler, and the cheek rest. Since the picture, I also painted the small piece in front of the cheek rest too. Been wondering about...

    Im happy with this

If that's freehand, yes, very impressed. If it's bench rest, bipod, tripod, sand bag, etc.,...the gun did all the work. Mike

Skout Airguns Tech Tuesday - HP Reg Update

I left my Epock filled to about 1500psi for two+ days, just to check the overall system...yeah, for leaks. It lost 1000psi, in that 2+ days. As verified with a piece of tape on the gauge face. I refilled, shot a few rounds, down to 1500psi again, let it sit for about two more days, a solid...

    Recommend me a new gun

So...are you now better off with all of the different recommendations ? I'd assume that you had a couple that you were looking at. Now, you still...have to pick between a BUNCH, rather than a couple ! Still requires a bit of homework, that you were trying to get out of. Mike

    Question for the backyard plinkers

An 18" cube (basically), foam archery target. So far, it's lasted roughly 5 years without needing replacement. I shoot indoors. My yard is about 40 x 20 yards. But I have similar restrictions as you (the OP), but with no concrete wall ! The good thing, it's VERY quiet. No pellet sounds...

Big Power in a Small Package: Meet the MicroStrike

Nice that they made the grip an "AR" (rifle) so there's probably hundreds of grips designs available. Mike

AirMaks Arms AirMaks KRAiT Standard .22 vs FX Panthera Hunter Compact .22

I'll have to check mine, but...if the breach seal is on the pellet probe, vs. in the barrel...You NEED to watch out how smooth the inner surfaces of the 3D magazines are printed. IF...they look like a thread, (most to), then I'd be REALLY careful about using a 3D magazine. Every time you cock...

AirMaks Arms AirMaks KRAiT Standard .22 vs FX Panthera Hunter Compact .22

VERY...different guns..!! I know little about the Panthera. I own a Krait compact and a Krait Lite compact. Would trade them for...nothing ! Of what I know about the Panthera, I'd pick the Krait (any length), every time. Mike

    Huben GK1 Perfected (v1 and v3 differences?)

Doesn't seem a "flat" sided grip (NOT handle !) would be very comfortable. To me anyway. Mike

    Other Alias Gem Pistol

But $2000 or $3000 air rifles is ok to spend ? That's actually not bad for a low production gun. Especially for being having been "fully" machined, vs. plastic or stamped parts. Mike
