Why does the air venturi avenger look exactly like the umarex origin??did umarex patent expire or did they sell the design??

I got the air saber and that's great for hog but 50 yards is where I've been hitting them .I also have to say I like the senaca light hunter tactical that 45 cal slams and shoots those heavy air bolts close to 600 fps .I live in ny cant even hunt airgun or air bolt yet ,that's why I like...
