Because of a similar story I now always hunt with my 12 gauge shotgun at ground level when hog hunting. And the last 2 rounds are buck shot. When shooting from high up or inside my truck I use rifle. 30.06 in my case. Would never use my .22 airgun for a hog. Only if its in a trap or something...

Is the zulus good enough for daylight hunting. Lets say for exemplo doves at 100yds?

I use slugs and understand you wanting to use slugs, but up to just 55yds I would just use a good expansive pellets, like the JSB Hades. They drop a lot of energy really fast. Otherwise, just use light/médium soft lead hollow slugs.

If the design is the same as the U2 you can adjust the hammer, but the diffference is almost none. Its a balanced valve therefor there is not much you can adjust on the valve side. The adjustment should be done on the regulator side. My U2 is quite efficient, I'm shooting 25,5gr slugs at...

I have one in 4-16x. Its an OK scope, but I dont love it. The eyebox its small and the reticle sometimes is not in focus. I much prefer my veyron in reticle clarity. And its cheaper.

What do you use then? GK1?

The Krait will do you well it would be One of my preferes choice, but like jace said an Uragan2/3 in CF would be great for that, its sturdy. I love mine but its on 600 not compact. Personally I just use my GK1 for wood walking. Its really so light thats on a completly other level for carry...

The semi-auto options are not that many, and realiable and acurate even less. You could wait for the new Taipan Slash, its right around the corner, but the K1 is a great option if you can pay the price and get past the not so good looks.

There could be, but not on the near future. Even though the Fenix is really not a L2 substitute and the Taipan Slash looks much better in every way.

I just noticed that you have the "original" carbon stock from wolfiek group and the 3d printed one from ebay. How do you find the 3d printed one? Is the plastic ok quality? I'm asking because he just releases the V2 from the stock that is QD. I'm considering it for my GK1. This...

Most high end PCPs with bottle will give a good shot count if you tune them correctly. My Uragan 2 600 in .22 is shooting 25.5gr Slugs at 1000fps and I get at least 5 mags before going below the regulator (never actually made the count). You consider 60+ shots a high count?
