This is probably a controversial opinion but I actually agree with this. I long considered stepping up to a .30 cal but considering a .22lr easily outperforms almost every .30 in every category it just isn't making any sense to me anymore. All these big bore air rifles are going to lead to...

Heck with it, I ordered the AGMods picatinny breech since I can use the factory bolt and i already have a 4x32 compact scope that should work fine with the short length of pull. It also means my spending on optics and likely this entire build is all wrapped up for $38 over purchase price...

The new poly breeches from AGMods on ebay are tempting as well. The gun does shoot well enough to deserve one. These have a deep loading port for clearance and they are 2 piece "trap door" designed to be able to use the factory one piece bolt. $38 $36

Lots of people enjoy shooting with open sights. A scope is actually a crutch that can add complexity to the experience. This model isn't necessarily designed for bench shooting, it's particularly marketed for pesting and hunting. It is a great gun as-is for squirrel and rabbit sized game. I...

Yep. I'm sure you saw but it's NOT the same barrel as the 362. Much finer finish and better rifling. Shockingly accurate, still deciding on the best way to keep the budget low with an optic. I think I have a plan. Luckily for me the barrel is so accurate I wouldn't think of replacing it so...

    Magazine O-rings - Necessary?

Can't stand how they grab the pellets when chambering a round when they're dry. Curious if I'm the only one who just cuts em off and throws em away.

N/A Nicest Underlever for around $300

Prob tired of being bothered spending hours exchanging messages for zero dollars, then having the person buy elsewhere anyway. Airgun service and sales is already not lucrative on a low volume basis.

Thanks for reading. I'm looking forward to the .177 as well. A couple more small details to note: The added barrel trim shims, bringing the barrel up to where it should be, slightly increased the gap at the muzzle and made the gap consistent the whole length of the tube, which gave the quick...

AEA WHAT THE HECK…3500+ FOOT POUNDS OF ENERGY FROM A .95 caliber AIR RIFLE

20 years ago was 20 years ago and a big bore then was .25 or .30cal at 3000psi. Apples to oranges. For the record I'm much more concerned about an accident getting unwanted attention. Headline : MAN BLOWS OWN LEG OFF WITH .95 CALIBER AIR RIFLE Or any number of freak accident that can occur...

AEA WHAT THE HECK…3500+ FOOT POUNDS OF ENERGY FROM A .95 caliber AIR RIFLE

That's directly related to the fact that people who go into the store to buy hunting rifles aren't the kind of people who intentionally commit violent crimes with firearms. Criminals don't buy their guns "over the counter". Claiming otherwise is detached or ignorant.

AEA WHAT THE HECK…3500+ FOOT POUNDS OF ENERGY FROM A .95 caliber AIR RIFLE

One crime, one accident or one overzealous politician. And yes it is EXACTLY the kind of thing serious criminals who don't want to get caught with a firearm will be attracted to. Like I said, it's unfortunate that people don't realize that. Just because people don't agree, or don't want to...

It's unfortunate that people don't realize how bad this is for the hobby. Same for full auto.
