It was not the battery. It is now on the way to AoA. Would anyone like to guess what the problem is? I will update this thread as soon as I know for the ones that are interested

I ordered a new battery. If that doesn't fix the problem, at least I have a new battery that I know the age and AoA would probably replace it anyway if I have to send it in.

The battery is labeled 8.4

The newest battery, which has been running the rile, reads 25.2. By the tester, that is 9v. I didn't bother checking the old one.

I do appreciate the info. I will order a new battery* and see what that does before sending it in. * Order a Daystate OEM battery or have one made at Batteries Plus? TIA

It came with an extra (old battery) and did the exact same thing with that one. ?????

Can you give a quick description of how? I do not have the owner's manual :-( Yes, I will not play much with it before I call AoA to get a repair authorization #.

When I put the gun on fire and pull the trigger, nothing happens. If I hold down on the trigger it beeps and runs through the programs. I was going to unplug and then plug it back up to see if it cleared the problem, but figured I would check with the experts first before I started guess...

Thanks for the replies. I might try to make my own. Battery recommendation? I mentioned the Eneloopin in my OP because they are always the first mentioned when anyone asks what the best rechargeable battery is.

Is anyone making battery packs for the Air Wolf using high quality rechargeables like Eneloops or similar? Batteries Plus will put together the packs but will only use their brand of batteries.
