Air Arms Air Arms S510 Core

I'm not an Olympic shooter, and for my purposes, the S510 is too heavy. By that same token, I got rid of my Lelya 2.0 because it was too light for the trigger it has (among other reasons).

Air Arms Air Arms S510 Core

For me, someone that usually shoots off hand, the weight is a burden. It's the trigger, cocking action, barrel, stock, regulator consistency and craftsmanship that make it accurate.

Air Arms Air Arms S510 Core

After the XTi-50 I figured their next model would update the milling on the action a bit. It just looks dated at this point. At the very least, they could've found areas to shave off some weight. My S510 shoots well, but it's heavy.

    Yong yeng cooling tubes “fused”.

Yeah, these things often need some percussive maintenance when taking them apart. It's especially frustrating when things unscrew so easily in every video you watch. The amount of leverage I needed to use made the stubby wrenches I bought pretty useless.

    Yong Heng leaks?

I don't recommend doing this a lot, but try turning the Yong Heng off while there's still pressure inside it. These things are so noisy and shake so much that it's hard to find leaks while they're running. And like ImpactX said, spray some soapy water near suspected leaks.

What do you like to unscrew gauges with?

Just got these in from rc4fun. These one have slots for ball detents to slide into.

Need verification of parts used in Yong Heng burst disc assembly

Well, I busted out the bore cam to take a closer look... That solves the leak question. Figured damage like that would cause more noise, but I was wearing hearing protection. Sounded like an o-ring going, not a piece of metal splitting.

Need verification of parts used in Yong Heng burst disc assembly

I recently blew a burst disc on my Yong Heng compressor. Despite replacing the disc multiple times, I'm getting a leak around the threads for the burst disc assembly. I've changed the amount of torque applied, but no dice. Apparently, these things can crack, so I have another on order. In the...

FX What thread locker for transfer port plug on Dreamline?

On the Dreamline, there's a screw above the transfer port. What type of sealant should I use to prevent air from escaping around it? I tried thread tape, but I can still feel air around it when I fire the gun. Thanks.

What do you like to unscrew gauges with?

I have a set of Tekton wrenches that gets the job done. The problem is that they're long, which can make unscrewing gauges awkward. I also have set of their stubbies, but they don't make them in large enough sizes. Is there something better? Thanks.

FX What would cause a leak from this hole on my Dreamline?

I can't say for sure, but based on the position of the weep hole, I'd look inside the regulator. Don't worry about looking for a particular o-ring. See it? Replace it. When looking for leaks in mine, I inadvertently made more by reusing the seals I came across. As for the metal ring, yours looks...

FX Anyone know where to buy a direct replacement for a Dreamline Classic regulator gauge?

Been trying to source a replacement for my Dreamline Classics' regulator gauge: 23mm, 200 bar range, black face, chrome finish, FX branding. Utah Airguns only has one in stock, apparently. Anyone know of another store that might have some? Thanks.

FX Grub screw on Dreamline power adjuster

On the Dreamline, there's a grub screw on side opposite the power adjuster. It fits into a slot on the power adjuster assembly and prevents unwanted movement. I'm talking about the small screw on the bottom of this picture: Should I be screwing this thing in until it bites into the power...
