Yep, had the same issue 2 times. Your ring is too close to the turret housing causing the adjuster to bind. You can loosen it until it adjusts properly or better yet relocate it at least a 1/2" away from the housing. Cheers, Bill and Addi.

My wonderfully reliable AEA Varmint 22cal. 23gr Impulse slugs @ 975fps. 50yrds. 5 shots. Hawke Airmax Compact 6-24. The shot and see target shows 5 Impulse slugs on the left and 5 Zan .217 on the right.

A quick check to see if the rings are creating a bind is to loosen the ring that is less than a 1/2" from the turret housing. It can be loosened a bunch without destabilizing the scope. If scope response then move the ring at least a 1/2" from the turret housing.

Zero errors is the gold standard. I 👍👌 like. If you are OK giving away your work, so be it. However, if you're interested in possibly earning a few bucks, read on. Simply because someone did this in the 40s doesn't preclude a patent for your design. There are a myriad of products out there that...

So a MAE test is over $100? If you hydro for 15yrs, then only 3 MAE tests would get you to 30yrs. That would put the MAE at $200 per test assuming $600 for new tank. My 21yr old Scott was $60 shipped. No additional costs.

Check out Aaron Cantrell's youtube vid on out dated tanks. Same tanks that are 15yr certified in US are certified for 30yrs in Europe. May have Cantrels' name wrong, but it's close enough to get you there.
