Thanks to @Airgun-hobbyist for assistance in ways as to how to get this tough little 90 Duro o-ring onto the probe. A combination of one of his ideas and my use of a section of PC waterline tubing and sufficient lube did the trick. Initially I thought I might be able to heat up the o-ring with...
Changing the probe o-ring on a EVOL .22 ... The tubing I used is 3/8in ID x 5/8in OD tubing for water cooled PC builds. Other tubing would certainly work or possibly even a piece of 1/4in thick wood. The piece I cut out is 7/8in x 1/2in, but 1 1/2in x 3/4in would be easier to handle. Lube the...
It rubbed along the channel of the single shot tray, which was rough, plus the channel also caused the probe to lift a bit. I could feel the roughness of the tray through the cocking lever. I have since fixed the tray by sanding the channel smooth, concluding with 800 grit. Now chambering a...
Add a couple hundred and get an AAA EVOL .22 Tactical 18 inch. Doesn't have an adjustable regulator, but you won't miss it. Built tough, accurate, superb 2 stage trigger, easy to work on, American made.
I saw yours, I liked it, so I got them. The lateral sled has a cabinet door bumper in each corner to prevent sliding and I used double-sided tape to anchor the jack to the sled. Works even better when a jack is used up front also. I really only use the rear bag with wood stocked rifles. A piece...
Lyman bag and jack up front. Rear has vertical and lateral. Got rear pieces from Alibaba or AliExpress, under laboratory jack. Rear lateral has 60mm total travel.
Per @markhooper the CS4 is a cheap knockoff of the Omega Trail Charger, but per @MACTEN GX makes the Omega Trail Charger. So, is GX making a cheap knock off of their own product? It's quite possible. Or is the Omega Trail Charger just an overpriced CS4?
Nope, there is no downside. The CS4 cooling system functions no different than a PC cooling system and contains dissimilar metals and other materials like PCs.
Actually, pure distilled water will leach minerals out of system and eventually galvanic corrosion will wreck havoc with dissimilar metals in the system. Use a coolant made for water cooled PCs or a car antifreeze that will be friendly with the materials in the loop.
