    OK, I managed to free the hammer by removing the hammer spring and easing it back to fully cocked, replacing hammer spring, while at full cock and tension and replacing the end cap screws while holding that end cap in place against the spring tension (easier than you'd think).     The hammer is jammed part way forward. I took grips and back off, no obvious way to free anything, just jammed like it was glued together.

    Amazon is replacing it. I'm very displeased though, as I'd heard they were quite reliable. The piston from the back is jammed forward, preventing full bolt travel. There should be no foreign matter; it been in it's holster that I custom made for it.

    Maybe I was wrong to do so, but I have been storing it loaded and pumped on safe. I was told these guns last longer stored pumped. Worked flawlessly for two weeks, shooting it daily. Then one time it wouldn't fire. Managed to re-cock it, get pellet out, dry fired to release air. Worked fine...
