FX diff press gun and compressor?

It did not take long for the gauge on my YH to start reading 500 psi high. I replaced it and the second gauge did not last much longer than the first. I do not fill guns directly, so if (when) the gauge springs a leak I'm just going to use a plug.

Is there a soft shooting target pellet trap?

Rubber mulch traps are the way to go. No cleaning out needed (Thousands of pellets in mine and I've never cleaned them out). They DO NOT shoot through, even when repeatedly hitting the same spot. The only maintenance needed is replacing or taping over the target face. You want quiet?? They...

    One way Valve

I made my own check valve using a paintball tank fill ripple (male thread) and a female threaded foster fitting (matching thread to fill nipple). The fill nipple has the one way valve. It was WAY less expensive than buying a premade valve. You just need to make sure that there is a pressure...

FX FX Wildcat M1 wild fps fluctuations

Check barrel / pellet probe o-ring. Dirt or something making hammer drag? Broken hammer spring? Bolt probe not lining up with transfer port (too far in / out)? Even after cleaning the regulator could still have bad seals. With the age of the WC mk1's it is probably due for new seals if you...

FX School me on the FX Wildcat mk1

I have had a WC MK1 .25 for many years. I bought it used - second owner. It has been the most dependable air rifle I own. It just simply WORKS. I have not had any issues with poi shift. I would not hesitate to buy a MK1 (for a decent price) but keep in mind that the MK1's are going to have...

    Yong Heng cooling help.....

Ice in direct contact with your coolant water is more effective than ice contained in water bottles.

    Ammo storage

Snap on lid so no more spilling a tin when picking it up and the lid slips off. (y) I use fishing line reel holders for my range bag. Pellet tins fit perfectly. I label the edge of the tin with a sharpie and good to go.

    Yong Heng compressor cooling mods

Have you noted a few baseline run time vs temperature for your YH before making mods to it?

    Acecare tank and valve question.

Did you fully open the valve? The valve on my Acecare tank requires two or three full rotations to open fully. A partial rotation of the handle (on mine) will crack the valve open ever so slightly and will restrict the flow of air for a slow fill. I like that it works in this fashion for...

Water Cooling - Order of things

Make sure that the water flow is in at the bottom of the YH cylinder and out at the top. This will help keep any air bubbles from getting trapped inside. If you are making it a closed loop system a bit of Water Wetter will help keep the water from getting "funky".

What will be your last, air rifle acquisition ?

WHO KNOWS?? I certainly don't. I may already have it. I might see a new "must have" the next time I peruse AGN. Airguns can be like Pringles chips "once you pop you can't stop".

    New Yong Heng question

At around 12 hours run time I replaced the high pressure rings on my Yong Heng (replaced low pressure and high pressure piston assembly with improved parts). After reassembly it was heating up quickly and running hotter than normal. I did lightly lube the cylinder walls during reassembly but I...

FX - DRS press release (Pro, Classic, Sub12)

I like the looks but 100% would rather have a Royale 400.

FX Still Enjoying My FX Royale 400! What Are You Shooting?

Ahhh, the FX Royale. The Royale was my "dream gun" for the longest time. Could not afford one then and over the years the latest and greatest eventually got my money. Seeing yours in that laminate stock brings back the "Royale longing" all over again. Enjoy that beautiful rifle.
