HELP --- I damaged my external regulator

I went to my local Home Depot, found a zinc bolt, cut it down and is working fine as a temporary fix. @RM.510bigbore I called Aqua Environmental and they generously sent me a new brass stem at no cost. Should arrive in a few days. Awesome! Many thanks to everyone and your suggestions. Very...

HELP --- I damaged my external regulator

Went to my local hardware store but all he had in a 3/8-24 bolt was a Grade 8. Didn't want to mess with working with a bolt that hard. I'll check with the big box store next to see what they have to offer. That's a great idea too!! Ultimately, I hope to find a brass replacement.

Remember, Commemorate, Honor - Memorial Day 2024

Yes!! Thanks for posting. I've always supported Veterans and the 2nd but when I met my fiance a few years ago, I met her son, a combat wounded Marine who lost his legs to an IED in Afghanistan back in 2011. He spent his 21st birthday recovering at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. He's come...

HELP --- I damaged my external regulator

Awesome!! Thanks for that information. I'll reach out to them. I bought a bunch of stuff from someone getting out of the sport a couple years ago. Tanks, targets, ammo, scopes, etc. This regulator was in the mix and it's one of my favorite and most used accessories.

HELP --- I damaged my external regulator

Thanks @BC. Your observations are right on. So yeah, I'll stop by the local hardware store and see if they can match the bolt. The allen holding the bolt was super tight. I had to use a ratcheting screw gun to get it to loosen up. I couldn't budge it with just an allen key. I didn't notice but I...

HELP --- I damaged my external regulator

UGH... I have an Airhog guppy bottle that I almost never use cuz it leaks and I'm having trouble figuring out where. I get no bubbles from soap but yet it looses a lot of air after sitting. Anyway, I loaded it up to 4500 psi, attached my external regulator and spent some time shooting my...

    Breech o-ring killers ???

Interesting!! My RedWolf is also used. I bought it back in October. Previous owner said it's basically brand new, only a couple tins thru it. REALLY, enjoy shooting this gun!! I haven't bothered to do any research as to what the breech oring is or if replacing it is straight forward. Let me know...

    Breech o-ring killers ???

@nervoustrig, thanks for that detail. The main reason for my post was to hear if anyone thought these types of pellets were especially abusive to the gun. The main reason I was shooting these was simply because I only have 3 small tins and figured I would just shoot them up and be done with...

    Breech o-ring killers ???

It sure seems logical. I personally have never come across anything like this being brought up so thought I would throw it out there.

    Breech o-ring killers ???

I was testing some 28gn Eun Jin pellets and some 32.4gn Seneca Hunting pellets in my .22 cal RedWolf the other day. They both shot well but both were very tight when seating the pellet even though I ran them thru my pellet resizer / checker. As you can see in the attached picture, the sides of...

    What got you started?

My start is similar to @Sqwirl57. I always enjoyed target shooting but it was never a real part of my life. Around 2017 I decided to get my pistol permit and then attended a local gun show. They were shooting Crosman 1701's at one of their ranges so I decided to take some shots and fell in love...
