I took my avenger apart to reseal with the captain-oring kit. I can't figure out where o-rings labeled as "e" and "d" belong. Which of them belongs over the brass "valve body?" and where does the other one belong.

If I'm correct that plastic can't be taken off without sheering the clips. Someone with more experience could say for sure.

I've read both that they are and are not choked. IIRC mine has a somewhat sharp step about 2 inchs from the end where the barrel gets smaller🤷‍♂️

I have thought about that as well but wouldn't that potentially effect the accuracy quite a bit since I'd lose the choke?

Has anyone tried to fit an avenge x barrel to the avenger? I know they are a bit different with the dimples for the screws but it would seem to me that should be easy to fix. I'm curious because I like the idea of putting the shorter 15.7" avenge x barrel on my avenger.

Hi I just came across the thread now. If I'm right the "#4 screw" is a probe alignment screw. At least that's what it seemed to do on mine. Just turn it in till the probe goes into the center of the breech. This could also potentially help the probe orings last longer

Once I get a shot on paper and the rifle isn't scattering them, then it's not too hard. I just measure the holdover with my reticle and dial the correct amount of clicks. After you're pretty much dead-on, you can shoot a group and make a final adjustment. My avenger has been giving me practice...

Personally, I like the normal way. When I shoot prone with a bipod I like to have my left hand under the butt of the stock with or without a rear bag. I can keep my hold and just reload with my right hand. Otherwise I'd have to go up and down with my left hand. And if I'm shooting offhand with a...
