I'm a service connected disabled combat veteran living in Fairfield County Connecticut and I spend most of my time, at this point in my life, shooting my PCP regulated. Airguns in my backyard. I only have night vision scopes at this time but I'm considering a starting type thermal. Hopefully I can find a preowned one of the base models.
I currently have a Pard DS35-70 LRF, ATN X-Sight 4K Pro Smart Scope 5-20 with ABL and Arken Zulus. Of those, I prefer the DS35 because of the long eye relief and the fact that it has an onboard illuminator.
A Pard NV008SLRF arrived last week, Friday. I was surprised that it wasn't as easy to use and navigate as the DS 35 and there seem to be very few videos on "how to" (does the laser need to be zeroed?) The Zulus arrived a few days after that.
I never shoot more than 100 yards and usually between 50 yards and 100 yards.
I put the Zulus on my FX Maverick in .22 and the NV008SLRF on my Avenge-X in .25
I did have SightMark Wraith 4K Pro 5-20 but I returned it because it kept locking up and did not hold zero. I will say that the nighttime resolution of the Wraith was better than the ATN or Pard DS35 that I currently have.
I do not shoot firearms. I only shoot air rifles (PCP)
My PCPs including but not limited to Notos, Huma Regulated Armada in .22, FX Maverick in .22 (soon adding .30 Heavy Liner), Avenge-X in .177, .22 and LW .22, Airacuda Max in .30, Gauntlet SL30, XM1 Ranger in .22, XM1 Bullshark in .177 and .25.
I have 2 favorite vendors: Pyramyd Air and Utah Airguns because of the superior customer service they provide and the superlative sales and technical people.
