Shooting 5 bar below won't cause a problem, just don't go to the extreme. Don't degass the gun by shooting it down even with your hammer...

If your lucky and have the valve locked open, you can just push the stem back in to reset it. Have any doubts, buy one and try it out...

Worst case scenario, you can damage the valve, seals ot knock the seat out of place.
