N/A What is considered the “best”

I don't see either a TX200 or an HW97 in your ownership list, thus it looks like you don't "have a dog in this fight" ...... so I am very curious, how do you think the HW97 compares to the TX200 re the above shortcomings? What (?) are the big drawbacks to the HW97? Thanks!

    Recommended tools?

Thanks -- I had forgotten about Brownell's. That kind of complicates the torque wrench/screwdriver choice though as they have so many. I'll need to dig around some on the www to try to find out why to choose one over the other.

    Needed/wanted PCP tools?

What tips would you use as replacements? Is there a torque wrench/screwdriver alternative that comes with quality tips (I kind of hate to buy something that needs immediate replacement)?

    Recommended tools?

Hope I'm putting this in the right spot. I'm going to be doing some work on a couple of rifles (no major surgery, just scope mounting and maybe some trigger adjustment), and have decided that instead of the "I think this screwdriver is close enough in size" and "there that should be tight...

    Hand Pumping PCP?

OK, got it! Yes, that seems like a good idea. Have a pump session from time to time and then there is always a refill source (the tank). Two more questions: 1) Lots of comments here about servicing the pump, which I assume (?) means lubricating the seals. Is there a "how to" on this...

    Hand Pumping PCP?

Great thread with a lot of useful information! I have a question about the above statement. I had never heard of topping off a scuba tank with a hand pump. I'm not understanding why pumping into the scuba tank, and then filling from the tank, would be preferable to pumping into the gun. ????

Is there a "Goldilocks" PCP for me?

I liked it, too. I agree with quiet and safety being paramount.

Is there a "Goldilocks" PCP for me?

No kidding. Isn't it amazing how a short range session conclusively leads to either "nope" or "where have you been all my life"? Following along, as I like the criteria set out to describe Goldilocks.
