I'm getting out of Heavy Varmint benchrest so I'm selling my rare .22 Benchmark barrel. This barrel is currently set up for use on a MAC1 USFT Hunter but can be modified for use on many other guns, like RAW, Daystate, FX , Thomas etc. For anything other than a MAC1, a transfer port may need to be cut and the barrel turned down to fit your action. The barrel is 29.5" long and .753 diameter. This is a two groove barrel that is full length, taper-choked to .214. It is absolute dynamite using JSB RS 13.6 pellets at 815 fps (Heavy Varmint class)! Included is a custom Donny FL moderator adapter.
History (from TM at MAC1) - Tim McMurray and Larry Durham designed this barrel for benchrest and they commissioned Benchmark to produce 200 barrels. I'm not sure exactly what happened but they only received 70. This was supposed to be an exclusive deal, but It is known that some of the earliest RAW rifles had Benchmark barrels.
