I took these 6 beautiful ladies out together to get a bit of comparison. Some members name their rifles. Here’s my thought, I used to go to The Hockey Show, it was for retailers, in the 90’s and it was in Montreal. I wasn’t a Bar Fly but we went to Chez Paris, the classiest strip bar on planet. They had at least 30-40 strippers. All gorgeous. I’m naming my Air arms after them.
Wow I didn’t mean t send so early, my mistake, not finished writing.
Here my harem. 725DCAE6-524B-472C-A76E-BC2DA6741A0B.jpeg The only problem I had was my first choice, MK3 .22, the cocking lever was difficult to release, too tight. Is there a remedy for this?
These rifles constantly stack pellets, all of them.
The big downfall for me is on the 200’s loading. F12D0A66-98FC-48F2-BC3A-FAF003CD1B18.jpeg I sit when shooting and found the 200’s slid off my leg twice when the bear trap catches. The Pro Sport doesn’t have this nuisance.
I actually don’t mind cocking the PS, I find they put a little curve at the end of the lever, which fits like a ring, comfortable. D0AE658D-4E10-4E8C-BA87-E1CD7B9B493E.jpeg.
These rifles are all stock, no modification yet.
My choice no doubt would be the Pro Sport.
What’s yours and why?(

The ProSport is a different animal than the TX200. The balance is different, it feels like a hunting rifle - yet it’s very refined. It’s cocking lever is the only detractor because it takes getting used to the angular shape of the handle and the different leverage point. The grip also feels different on the ProSport, a little fuller in the palm.

But there is no mistaking the beautiful lines of the ProSport. If the two rifles were cars the ProSport would be the Ferrari and the TX200 the Mercedes.

If I could only have one I’d stick with the TX200 for usability but life is too short to have just one!

Pro Sport for looks, TX200 for usability. Im not a huge fan of how the PS cocks but I can't deny how much I want one still. The thing is a work of art
I have to admit when I first used the PS I did find cocking odd. I’m sitting as my knees are baked. I now prefer the PS over the 200. Once I found the rhythm, I liked it. I find the cocking arm on my MK3 .22 really hard to release, sometimes both sets of fingers needed. I have a feeling this will be the next gun to disappear from the market. Crow

The grip does have a little more meat.
The TX200 was the first springer I bought. Good luck Crow

Go for the TX200 full length - the ProSport is a thing of beauty, but... it's a bit too light up front and the cocking arm makes fitting a hamster a real pain.

It might also help you to have a look at the equipment list of shooters in the last FT World Championships to see what everyone else is shooting (p.s. won by a TX200.
I know the 200 has a track record. I like Accuracy but I’m not that meticulous. Maybe that will change. All my guns are squirrel guns first, for shooting targets second, which works for me, To each his own. Crow
