I am considering buying a Daystate Revere in 25 cal and noise is a concern as I have neighbors on 3 sides. Open field on the other, where I shoot. I have the Huntsman Regal in 22 cal and love it and now want a 25 cal. I want to keep it as quite as possible so as not to bother any one. Any one out there with the Revere in 25 and what do you have on it?
Which LDC would be the quietest on a Daystate Revere in 25 cal.

Thank you, guys. I will check into both of those. Also, I did call AOA, who I am looking at purchasing thru as they have a sale going on these Reveres right now, and they recommend a odB full length to go with it. Has any body used that one? Is there a place online that has compared these side by side?

I have the short 0DB on my huntsman 177 and it is super quiet....I know not the same, but I am very impressed with the 0DB.....I have shot next to red wolf's in 25 with the large 0DB and they are pretty quiet also...

my fix wildcat sports a Odb moderator That I’ve also used on a red wolf with excellent results.

I prefer the 0dB as it doesn't have a huge OD like the Donny, looks a bit cleaner on the gun imo as well.

Check out STO moderators. I use the Falix on 3 rifles. I also use a Quite Shot, way over priced for the performance. There is a Huma MD 40 in the mix. Out of the three I think the Falixs are the best. I think it's the tonal quality is better, lower pitched. Take this with a grain of salt my hearing is vastly degraded.

I have a new Daystate Revere .22 regulated that was bundled with the 0dB 110C moderator from AOA.
For me, the 0dB 110C was quietest compared to my Sumo .25 and Huma MOD40-5/0 Long. I was really shocked, because I thought the Sumo or Huma would have been better. To get a second opinion, I had my wife sit outside about 20 feet from the bench. I tried all three moderators multiple times, but she kept picking the 0dB as slightly more quiet. I was so disappointed with the Huma, that I returned for a refund.
All three moderators reduced the sound to about the same decibel level. But, the 0dB seemed to have a lower pitch, thus making it sound a little more quiet.
However, the Revere with 0dB is still louder than my Taipan Long .25 with Sumo.
I know you have a .25 caliber Revere, so your results could differ.

Ok, so I have tried both the 110 and the 160 0db and the 160 is quieter. I dont have a noise meter so I dont know how much difference there is. The 160 is probably quiet enough but I think I will eventually try a Donny and Maybe Impulse just to try them.

Make sure you give the Hugget snipe a look too, very quiet and on par with the donnyfl sumo but in a smaller package.

The lower tone comment has me wanting to try the Odb , i have a Donnyfl but the lower tone is usually not associated with a shot sound.
