Thanks for posting Sqwirlfugger57, I fixed it. Until I saw this thread I thought I fat fingered the wrong button on my keyboard.

The cool thing is,...we have a choice now. If Michael didn't turn the site into dark mode, it would've took some of us awhile to know we had the option to change it.

I kind of like it. I'll leave it be for a while. I know a few people that prefer to text in dark mode also.

I must be getting old because I hate it when things change for no apparent reason. But at least some one showed us how to fix it .

Changed it, all is well. Thanks for the info, if left to my own devices I would have never been able to change it to light.

I changed it back to autodetect. Y'all can manually changed to Dark mode when your corneas get burnt out on light mode! 
You can quickly & easily modify your preference at any time. Simply scroll to the bottom of any page and change it.
