New Hunting rifle

All great rifles, but believe the Daystate Revere is the lightest and comes in a beautiful left-hand version.
I asked this question before, but it was between the AA510 and the Huntsman,it was 50 -50...then the Huntsman came on strong because of its lighter weight, accuracy, and reliability. British....now a lot of British like the HW110,.....I am getting a huntsman because I shoot lefty, like the looks and low weight of it.
Again all are great PCPs......

I'd vote for the hw110.

I would shoot for a Taipan veteran shorty with a 4-16 scope. perfect little hunter out to 60-70 yrds.

It is difficult for me to recommend this rifle as it is essentially an orphan in the U.S., but I can't resist since it is so good. And it seems to fit the bill as to what you are looking for so well.

I am blown away by this light rifle. About 70 unregulated shots per fill, with JSB 18.13's averaging 875 fps. I couldn't believe the number of shots when I first took it out, and consistency is excellent - must be do to a very well balanced valve. Really handy gun to walk around with, and shroud/moderator is already built in to its 39.5" OAL (I looked up the carbine versions of the models you discussed in your first post, and they are all in that length range or longer, especially if you attach an additional moderator). Adequately left hand friendly (at least in the opinion of a righty) with ambidextrous stock and safety. Cocking lever is on the right, though, and cannot be swapped. Hammer spring is externally adjustable, but mine shot so well out of the box that I haven't touched it. But it is available if you prefer to shoot lighter Hades instead of the 18.13's for your hunting. Very comfortable gun to shoulder and shoot, and mine already has ground squirrel blood. Trigger is fantastic, and cocking very smooth.

BUT you have to be comfortable with an essentially unsupported gun. Can't get extra magazines (mine works flawlessly so far, and gun comes with a single shot tray). But the design appears to be very robust and simple. I'm thinking that all the replacement parts I'll ever need will be o-rings. And I'm pretty sure that the selling shop would at least deal with a replacement for a gun received DOA. My recently purchased gun had a manufacturing date of 2016, but has been perfect in operation.

Top this gun off with a Veyron Compact 3-12 and it is a handy, relatively compact hunter, with good power and great shot count. For an all-in cost of $1,000 or less.

I have a Revere in .22, it would be a great choice for hunting. I also have a Taipan Veteran. It's also a great rifle, and short. But, it's heavy and, for me, not especially comfortable in its handling qualities, assuming a walking, woods rifle. Another suggestion is the FX Royale 400, if you can find one.
