Mind blowing accuracy javelin slugs

😂 how consistent? Damn good shooter for sure.
That was 4 shots. This gun is setup on 18.13 grain jsb pellets, I was gifted the slugs and figured I'd test performance, unfortunately my $200 2nd focal plane scope can't shoot the heavier grain slugs flat enough without using x4 zoom. If I ever buy a high dollar scope I'll definitely switch over to these. Curious how they'll preform for a .25 cal avenger because I have a nice hawke scope with a turret on my .25 that should be able to handle the heavier grain trajectory

Well GOODNESS! How close are the CLOSEST TWO?

Seriously the reason we count ALL the shots in a group is so that we are not deceiving ourselves. That's a good group ONLY if those other 4 on the right were not shot at the same aimpoint on the same zero.
I measured the closet 3 from the furthest 2 apart. Because general groupings are usually measured in 3 or 5 shots. The other hit marks on the target not circled are not from the slugs. They are from my .25 cal that is having issues and I am most likely going to return unfortunately

This looks like a gun that shoots really good, and a shooter who shoots really good. 😊 👍🏼

And as others have said in this thread (and many other discussions we've had over the years):
To really know the performance and precision that a shooter—gun combination is capable of, some of the suggestions were:
▪ It is best to average the cherry-picked groups with the other groups.
▪ One 5-shot groups includes a very large amount of good luck (or bad luck).
▪ 4 consecutive 5-shot groups will be much more representative of what the shooter—gun combination is really able to achive — consistently (or two 10-shot groups)

Keep up the good work! 👍🏼😊
And if you ever decide to upgrade your scope, let me know — I have some helpful scope specs collections and instructionals. 👍
