FX Dreamline leaks at the bottle adapter connection of the base

Hello friends,

greetings from Germany again.

I have a regulated Dreamline and was on vacatation in Netherland.
Where I install the "export kit", to remove the limits of this nice gun.

Everything works fine and I was really happy for about 200 shots. Everything sealed and no gas leaks.

After this, I've try to install the power plenum and after this instantly air is leaking out of the connection from the bottle adapter of the base.

I've tryed everything, changed ALL o-rings in this area and remove the plenum as well. Now its leaking with or without the plenum. Everytime on the base.
I've cleaned it really well with isoprop and remove any dust. No results. :(

Do you have any tips or hints for me?

I'm really desperate. :(

I've changed the O-Rings three times now. Its does not come out at the regulator amp.
Here I've marked the area.

You mentioned the leak occurring after you installed the power plenum. Does the plenum now make the connection to the action, rather than the bottle adapter? If so, isn't that likely your problem?
It happens after I've installed the plenum, but now it happens wihthout the planum too.
Everytime at the same position.
I've changed all the o-Rings, where I think it could be the issue and rebuid the gun WIHTOUT the plenum.
Same result... :(

That's interesting. Assuming you are using the correct type and size O ring, I can't think of anything else.

Is it possible, that TO MUCH grease can cause the O-rings to misplace?
When it comes to preasure? Especially the small and thin O-ring in the bottle adapter?

Edit: dry as **** or lubed like a good hole... No different.
It seems, that the small and thin O-ring misplace, when it getting pressure.
No matter, if I'm using with or without plenum (same seal?!).

Why is that happen, after I try the plenum and no time before?
I cant count how often I disambly my Dreamline, before the plenum...

Exactly ONE time I get it totaly sealed, WITH the plenum, but with the bottle adapter in the wrong position. To the side....
After this i try to tighten it a little bit and now nothing workd again...

Edit:
It seems that the thin O-Ring is moving aver the hole of the bottle regulator.
I cant say why...

Any ideas to hold it in place, while screwing the adapter tight and pumping?
Maybe a thicker grease?...
Before the grease works perfect.
I dont get it... :(

I'm pretty sure there are 4 o-rings that can leak where you are seeing air, the big one, the 2 valve pin cap o-rings and the little one that goes around the back of the valve pin..
Thanks a lot TwoLoe88.
I've changed the two valvepin cap o-rings and the big one...
Now its sealed WIHOUT the powerplenum but WITH the plenum, its still leaking.

Other thought...
I use a handpump to pressurise. Maybe this is making trouble?
Maybe I dont get enough pressure with my handpump, in a short time, in this enlarged space, caused by the powerplenum, to keep the valvepincap in place?
Is this possible?

Other question.

Do I have to use a thin O-Ring, like the one that are used in the bottle adapter, for the plenum or is it okay, to install it only with the big one?
In any videos, I dont see anything about the thin oring...

I've got the Dreamline Lite, with the bottle adapter but with the tube on it and the "new" thinner shroud.

You can probably shut off your regulator to build the pressure in the bottle. then open it to force it to seal.
