These groundhogs were having a field day while I was away on vacation, so I had to do further corrections on their oxygen intake. I modified the first on by performing a rhinoplasty to remove any obstructions to his frontal lobe. The second one I relieved pressure on his diaphragm so his lungs wouldn't have to constantly expand and contract.

I think they feel a lot better now! 27 groundhogs down this year in a one block radius is a serious infestation.

It was ultra close! I think it was something like 6 or 7 yards.

Yes it is!

The Maverick VP with the Hybrid Slugs are the round I shoot in that gun 99% of the time because they are so accurate and have such high terminal performance.

From left to right are the FX Hybrid Slugs in .30cal, A recovered Hybrid Slug .30cal after a full passthrough on a groundhog at 66 yards, and an FX Hybrid Slugs .357cal for expansion comparison. I have never been able to get anything close to that kind of expansion with the NSA slugs at the 85fpe power level.

I’ll let you know what the NSA’s do at a little over 100 FPE…
