Shooting wine corks at 100 yards...

Had a real nice day out at the range with fellow AGN member 'dennisu'. We shot some 25M benchrest practice followed by blasting wine corks at 100. Dennis shoots a Dreamline Tactical in 22 and I am shooting my Taipan Veteran standard also in 22. We are both shooting 18.1 grain pellets. Here are links to a couple of videos that folks might enjoy as well as a photo of some of the corks after we abused them. Chip.

@abqjoe I also have a Dreamline tactical in 25 that I absolutely love, I just decided to take the Taipan out last Thursday for some excercise.
@L.Leon Thanks, we both really enjoy shooting the corks. We started out using Coke cans and that was too easy so then we moved on to the little Schwepps 7 oz. (I think) cans that you can buy with tonic water / ginger ale, etc but those also quickly became too easy. The corks are really great because any kind of breeze makes them a real challenge and even in calm conditions they are certainly not a 'gimme' at 100 yards. At that distance the pellets are really arcing in and there is probably a 4 to 5 yard distance difference from the bottom of the berm to up near the grass line so it really does make a difference in your hold over / under depending on exactly where the cork is on the berm.
@john8 Yup, we try to pick up all of the big pieces but anything we miss cleaning up we don't really worry about because the cork is all natural and 'goes away' quickly. The range is at a private gun club near Arcadia Florida and we feel very thankful to have such a nice place to shoot.
