Why is there no electric pellet gun?

I think the reasoning behind the no auto electric pellet guns is because there would be jamming nightmares. Its been tried on some of the top of line PCP guns and they have jamming issues and their semi auto not full.

I believe the have a few out on the Zumwalt destroyers.
They call them Rail Guns

The Reg recovery time may be a very limiting factor. Unless you just need for show off in backyard plinking, but then again just stick to what is available currently.

Getting a BB to roll is a whole lot easier than forcing a pellet down a barrel.

Electric doesn't work on non-ferrous projectiles? Well it doesn't in rail guns anyway, I think?

I suppose you could add a tensy-wensie ferrous sabot?

Totally different dynamics as far as how they move a projectile. The only reason they can get that velocity is purely due to a "BB" projectile. It's near identical design as some modern airsoft guns but beefed up for the larger weight of a BB. To move a pellet down a barrel would require some burst of air. I initially asked if the gun could shoot lead BB's and they stated due to the nature of the loading system being magnetic it couldn't.
