Check out the Arken optics lineup, if elevation travel is what your looking for, as they have tons of travel!

After a few other brands I discovered that I prefer a cross over the floating dot. 1.5 hour drive and I can get my hands on a Nightforce so I became an NX8 F1 user. Locally it's all Leupold and Vortex at the LGS

Since I don't often shoot past 50 yards, and like a lightweight rifle, I would go with a 1-10x March Shorty, or the 2.5-25x42 / 3-24x42. I ran a 2.5-25x52 on a centerfire 6.5CM and loved it. If I end up going down that extreme distance road then the March 5-42 Gen2 or maybe the 10-60x56 High Master since it can double as a spotting scope.

I've been most satisfied with the lower cost Meopta scopes, (Optika5 and 6) so I would be looking very closesly at the pricier ranges.

Thanks for trying to help but I already have a March 5-42x56 which has 40 mils of elevation travel. I want more
for a few reasons. ""EDIT, I sold this scope"".I also have 4 other scopes from 26 to 32 mils of travel.

Over 3 lb target shooting yes hunting no. Who wants to lug around 3 lb scope plus everything else? An exception if you're just going to stay in a blind all day and not move around.

What would you guys think between the March 4.5x28x52 wide angle Hi-Master that is 12.5" long and only 29.8 oz or the 5x42x56 March Hi-Master wide angle scope that is 13.8" long and 34.57 oz as the best March scope for plinking, hunting, and target out to 150 yards?

True, but other top of the line scopes are tanks also. I think everyone mentioned, Nightforce ATAC-R, IOR, Vortex Razor, etc are pretty heavy….
