ZZZ…….the absolute upper ceiling they should ever be in the first place. Hope they don’t break an arm patting themselves on the back for this one.
I concur..
Did i miss something on these, last time i looked at this gun it was a 299.00 price point gun, Now the Gen 3 is a 499.00 price point????
There are quite a few Much better guns out there at that price point.....

To DAR if you want to impress us go back to the 299.00 price
I have a hard time justifying a 200.00 price increase for a 10.00 side lever, a 15.00 threaded shroud, and a 5.00 foster fitting .. Oh wait i guess the Picatinny rail cost 170.00....

The $500 regular price is not competitive. The $400 sale price makes it a good buy though. Not by the standards of 2020 of course but by the reality of today.

The era of the $300 regulated, wood-stocked, shrouded, magazine-fed sidelever is behind us. The prices of everything are up. The Avenger is $430. The upcoming Airacuda Max is the same. Even the plastic-stocked contenders are coming in at $350 and higher. I’m not happy about it either but this is the new normal.

From someone who has both the Avenger and DAR, I like them both but if I had to choose one over the other, it would be the DAR. All metal and wood, rock-solid regulator, quality aluminum magazine, much quieter than the Avenger at the same power level, and a better barrel in several ways.

Nervoustrig,
Casino7095 felt the same as you when comparing his Avenger (Wood Stock) to DAR Gen 3, in his May 2022 video review. Also, was reading comments section of a DAR Gen 3 review by Airgun Detectives and found $100 off using "Detectives" as a discount code. I think this $100 off thing is something DAR will throw around; don't think we'll see a $200 off coupon anytime soon. WM
