30-Yard Challenge

Well I decided to try and improve my worst score again. There is a bit of wind this morning I measured 0-5 mph. I was not watching my wind flags much but my score with my 25 caliber Avenger improved to a 186 with 7Xs. Several of the Xs are very nicely centered - really like those. I use a West Hunter 4-16 on that rifle that I have less confidence in but today it did well. It shot to the same POI as when I put it away a week or two ago and it did not seem to move at all as I was shooting. It could be a little more clear but it's an inexpensive scope so I am getting more satisfied with it. This is the only thing I do with that rifle where I wish I had a bit more magnification and/or clarity.

Jim,
It sure would be nice to have a bunch of 5L and 9R targets! Good chootin‘ none the less.

Just shot some cards...and man one shot really shows you what a 10 shot group won't! Honestly thought it would be easy! I am now humbled, and think I need to clean the barrel on my redwolf.
HaHaHa :p That what I thought too. Groups are fun and hide a LOT of mistakes. There isn’t anyplace to hide when shooting single bulls.

@woogie_man - Thanks for submitting your cards. Can you score them for me? I could do it for you, but might miss some close line scores since I'm looking at your cards on my computer. Let me know if you have questions about how to score the cards. Keep at it!
Yeah I can do that. Was busy last night and forgot about that part. Will get that done sometime today!

As mentioned before I had video of the 2 cards I shot today. I was learning to use my Longshot Marksman camera. So far I like it save the shot size indicators. Even at the smallest setting they are too large to function for me. Atl ease as I am using it. It may be user error. Otherwise it a nice system for me.

TX200 30 Yards, AA Field Heavy

183 (6x) and 185 (7x). Uncut from sight-in shots to final. Shooting running at 3x speed to reduce boredom.

Indeed it does ThomasT and it’s one swchweet shooter but I’ll probably sell it at some point. I’ve come to realize that I’m just not a .30 guy. I just prefer .22’s and the way they feel when I shoot them. It’s hard to describe but I know you kind of feel a similar love for .177’s right?
Yes, I really enjoy shooting .177 and most likely feel like you with the .22.
