Depends on how high your scope is mounted. The comb on the CS800 isn’t adjustable and (from what CS told me) they can’t make it so. Said not enough thickness in the stock. Uj
UJ is 100% correct.
It really depends on your intended use. If you will have a low (ish) mounted scope and will be carrying the gun #2 will be your best bet. If you will be shooting from a bench, FT, and/or need the adjustment of the cheek piece #1 will be better for you.

part two of the decision email answer =
Hi, The cs800 cannot have an adjustable cheek piece as the adjustable mechanism is too large to fit into the cs800's smaller butt.
The cs1000 can be ordered without stippling to the forend .

I am now thinking for the shooting i do the cs1000 with no stippling on the forend because i am changing scopes till i find what works best .
precision and accuracy .

I have the CS800 Lefty FT thumbhole stock.Very nice, has the adjustable butt pad;I have a long neck so I need it.
For me it is what I need, the fact is a also have one for my HW50.
LTD stocks in England have been around a long time, they are easy to order from, the stocks are the best for the money I have found.
Takes about 4-6 weeks to get them....Can not go wrong.

found out #2 is a custom for a client = cannot buy one SO it is# 1 with no stippling on the forend i was leaning towards that one from the beginning.

Funny , i see pictures of guns that look nice and thought why would someone spend that much ? "Now i are one " hahahaha
Anyone have a bigger shovel ? i can't seem find the bottom

A very rewarding and expensive rabbit hole. Please keep us updated.View attachment 289774
You sure got some nice wood on your CS stocks. I just received my CS700 and was hoping to win the wood lottery too but it’s not nearly what I was hoping for. Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful stock just missing the character I was hoping for.
