2 piece scope mounts w/ stop pin on one.... Available???

Lots of different brands make those. Recently I've been using the Hawke two piece Match Ring Mounts. They do have the stop pin.

Good Intel, but I can't see anything that link where it says that.
Says what? The pin? You can ser it in the picture. If you look a most "air gun" mounts you see the hole for the pin /hex wrench in the bottom 1/2 of one of the rings.. when in doubt e mail there support...

Take a very small file to that Hawke stop pin and file the point off so the bottom of the pin is flat. No clue why they make them that way, but you can get more of the pin down in the hole to do the job it's meant for if you do.
To help dig in to the receiver.. or pumch its own stop hole ...😉 . lol

Thanks. I don't wasn't doubting you, but saying they should put that sort of thing in the description so novices like me can find it

I throw the stop pin away. My scopes don't slip. This one gave me some trouble but I got them tight enough. Burris steel .22 rings don't have allen screws. But I wanted this look for one a my R7's. I don't want big blocky aluminum rings on it. Blued steel. Believe it or not R7's can be hard to get the scope mounted solidly too.
No stop pin on my HW95 or R9. Nothing on my FWB124. I could list more. My Webley Stingray......... The Tomahawks sort of have a built in stop.
None of my guns have that ugly gack mark left by a stop pin.

https://us.hawkeoptics.com/tactical-ring-mounts-1-2-piece-9-11mm-medium.html Excellent rings.

My suggestion is to thoroughly clean all ring mounting surfaces with alcohol wipes including screws/bolts. Use blue locktite for the screws/bolts and set the base to 30" lbs. & ring caps to 18" lbs. When setting the rear mount with stop pin hold the ring base to the rear with stop pin fully engaged. Also don't forget eye relief and horizontal alignment before torquing the screws/bolts. Use a round robin sequence when setting the torque.

Hawk makes a 2 piece off_ set
Not that i shoot scoped but times i have i do feel id prefer set back . " Normal " rings i just cant get the scope back enugh for eye relief so im feeling hunched foreard or somthing... I figured if i had another 1/2" or inch set back be near perfict for my hold..

That then comes down to buy and try and see what you like best for your shooting or holds..

Reversed Hawke Reach forward Match mounts. Gives you a 1 inch set back and I have them on quite a few of my rifles to get the scopes back where I like them and they're comfortable.

Sportsmatch also makes a few in both 1 inch and 30mm, here's 1 example from AoA:

SportsMatch scroll down to see what size you need and click the colored square to see model number , then do a google search for that model to find dealers
AoA does carry some
SportsMatch T04C medium rings on my HW95L with a Hawke 3-9 x 40 mm AO scope.
