that could be.....when the oring fell out of mine, the mag wobbled around and caused problems.

Yup that's what it is for. I have had a few pop off and a little super glue and I am back ready to go...

Helpful hint: I've lost a couple of those in the past. Instead of ordering OEM parts, I found I had larger o-rings whose cross section was equal to the DIAMETER of those magazine o-rings & I cut a cross section slice of the larger o-ring, equal to the THICKNESS of the smaller magazine o-ring. Crazy glued it onto magazine & it's worked flawlessly since then.

Be aware that Capt. O-ring's kit for the Maverick is missing ONE set for one regulator, the FX drawing is wrong, it's missing the front regulator.
