The size of that rifle based on the video really turned me off, but I too am still intrigued, but not surprised nothings come to fruition.

I love to see more, but i am also glad i am only 1/3+ the way saving towards that big compressor.
There will be no airgun shopping here for the next 12 months, 18 months and i might be ready, though not 3000 grand ready i have to admit.
The Epoch will have to be a insane gun for me to go there on a pension.

at the 3 grand price you get 3 barrels, tight - medimum and loose fit, so a good chance to have the right barrel for whatever pellet, there will also be slug barrels they say

You are right to ask, but you really shouldn't have to. If they have taken a dime from anybody then they should be posting monthly updates at least.

Well it would be nice to keep exited people informed, but i wouldn't expect you to do that unless you where crowd funding, which i dont think are the case here.
And i for one would not take any pre-orders unless i was 110 % sure i could deliver, if i was not able to do that i would feel like a thief, and its been decades since i put that feeling on ice.
Still i am exited ( happen very easy with toys too ) so i like to see way more info, even if its just beguine stuff like here we are shooting this pellet, and here we are shooting that pellet ASO.
For the hell of it i would also like to see a time lapse video of how fast it take to shoot 1 shot - change barrel shoot 1 shot - change barrel and shoot one shot.

There is a HUGE difference between "excited people" and 'paying' customers! IF they took a dime of customer's money for pre-orders then they should be keeping them informed.

Yes and I do believe they are crowd funding, if there is no updates, no promise date, no nothing but the money is coming in... I unfortunately believe that they are doing exactly that.

Indeed. if they have taken any money up front, they should at the very least keep those people informed, that i feel are just common decency.
But i have no idea if they have done that, i dont think it is needed as they seem to have worked on this for a long time and so R&D have been spread out over a long period.

Well i have not seen them on Kickstarter, where i am involved in 2 other things, but granted i am new there and i dont think old projects are still listed there if they have timed / funded out.
But i will try and search there to see what happen,,,,,,,,, I get Nothing searching on kickstarter with Scout airguns - Epoch or just airgun

After watching what happened with the LCS SK-19 and some of the other cutting edge airguns I'd rather take less risk and go with the tried and true. Stand on the cutting edge and you'll bleed a little -- sounds like the case here.

I remember seeing that now, so yeah they do seem willing to take money.
I dont think that would involve a NDA too, so if i had jumped that particular bandwagon, i would have shared ( in here probably ) every new bit of info i got.
I think that would be the same with every other exited and paying person, if there are no NDA in the way,,,,, which i think would just be silly to have a NDA with a paying customer.

think they will be junky guns as they still not got the gun figured out fx products agt uragans or others that are tried and true
