Qualify your score or group?

How many times have you seen a shooter qualify his score or group size before showing it here on AGN? Like this:

There I was this morning, shooting at almost 100 yards (97.3Y actual) and the winds were 15 to 20 mph, 47.8 degrees from the left, gusting to 30.2 mph, and occasionally switching directions.
So I apologize, this 10-shot 0.65" C2C group could have been better, but it was the best I could do at the time... I usually do much better (hole in hole all day), but with the minor wind conditions... well, you know. ;) I had to hold off anywhere from 10 to 20 inches, so judging the wind with the flags was crucial.
Anyway, below is the group, others weren't quite as good, but nothing over an inch.
:ROFLMAO:

PS., for those easily offended snowflakes, this post is intended to be humorous...

It wasn't until the advent of firearm/airgun forums that I learned the word "alldaylongifIdomypart" :)

Guilty here too, the pretty group photos I post to brag on a rifle are always from those treasured dead calm, bluebird days. Nobody wants to see the ones from a raw, blustery day (I tell myself). But I'm honest about the conditions 😇. Darn sure not putting down sub-MOA groups in nasty wind, most of the time won't even shoot in it! Gotta change that though... never gonna get any better at it otherwise.

Some people just have a tendency for "too much information".

Other times people might believe telling the full story from their point of view (qualifiers included) is being more forthcoming.

Some people might be nervous about getting negative feedback on a forum.

I did think that was a funny post though. Reminds me of a certain YouTube airgun reviewer.

That's why I draw the line at what I was wearing at the time... by NOT divulging I do my best shooting NAKED!

Oops.🥴
Shhhhhhhh!!! That's a secret only known to the few, the proud, the Texans! Much easier to feel wind shifts on the naked body... :sneaky:

And this guy professes to live in CALIFORNIA!

He obviously belongs in an ass-backward hell-hole like Texas!🤠
This whole thread has me laughing. Thanks, much needed. He's welcome here with an attitude like that. My suggestion would be to go down to Mexico first then cross the border there. Much easier and no one would know you're from CA. Just don't accept a free bus trip if it's offered! :ROFLMAO:

I'm not sure about that, I could easily end up in Martha's Vineyard, then getting shown the door by the "welcoming" citizens there!

Appreciate the humor Mike.

But I'll take a good description of the conditions relevant to the group over a dearth of details any day.

The opposite, for example.

"Shot this group. I think it may have been around 100 yards."
(Then there's a shared photo here)

Okay, that's nice, but it doesn't mean anything, nor tell us much without the relevant information.
My favorite detail that's usually conveniently-not-included is when we don't get to know how many groups were shot.....is that group that was shared 1 of 1, or the best 1 of the 347 groups that you shot today?
