Why do I always feel guilty when my airguns or accessories arrive and hide them from my woman!!

I believe women prefer a confident man that doesn't worry constantly about what others think. You want her to be attracted to you not a mirror image of herself.

Since this has the possibility of being read as asinine I'll tell you it's not meant to be. It's just an old man's opinion who has studied the subject for many years.

She bought this and hid it from ME!

Then she gave it to me for Christmas! Around 1987. I was 27 then. It's still LNIB. I have two other 55's

Don't feel too badly. SHE's hiding that 12" long, 3" wide vibrator that got delivered while you were out shooting! 🤪 :ROFLMAO:
Worse yet, a 12” wide by 3” long!! Ohhh buoooyyy!!

My wife supports my hobby, but not to the extent that I can just buy and buy and buy. In 35 years of marriage I’ve learned to “reward” myself, by doing chores or projects that most folks would have to hire out, so I reward myself with a small purchase here and there. Granted I need to rely on my son for the muscle work anymore while I do the planning, but it still ends up cheaper than hiring someone to do these tasks, and my wife wants me to pass on life skills down to my boy, so it’s all a win win.

No problem here, but not CUZ i have a good woman, or i have a woman but have taught her well.
It is for the simple reason that i do not have a woman,,,, which some times are sad, but most times a relief.

TBH i would like a woman, BUT ! as i have a big problem taking chances on people, well then when i have tried i soon had to call it quits.
It is the same reason why i at the age of 56 only have 1 friend, i have known tonnes of other people, but they only made it as far as acquaintances.

It is also why you would never her me say in a spur of excitement " i will kill you " CUZ i would never say something and then not do it.
If i make you a promise, you can be sure hell or high water will not stop me from keeping it, so of course i also expect that from others, hence why i am let down so often on what is a very important parameter for me in any relationship.

Springrrr

You are close!!!! When Barbara got into this sport she thought she only needed 1 rifle and now she has 4!!!!! Funny part is now she doesn't say anything when she sees a charge for a new order of pellets or little things for the rifles....She does give me a funny look every time I get a different rifle and sell a rifle. "How many do you have now" Still 5 dear to your 4, but I also hunt with them 😎😎😎

Eons ago my Wife bought me a Thompson Grayhawk for our first Christmas together. I had a friend tell Her I wanted a Thompson Thunderhawk. Stupidly I said something and we returned it for a Thunderhawk. In hindsight that was a bad move . For many years now my Wife will ask me what She is getting me for Christmas :) . Still , I wish I had gushed over the Grayhawk and said nothing .

I panicked yesterday .I was coming home with my lady when my neighbor walks by and said . “ Al , you got a big package at your door”

My Kral.!!

My girl looked at me and shook her head. “Another one ?”

I said. “ That’s right.! I am what I am !!”

She responded.” Oh and now you think you are Popeye too, great just great “

Chime in. You guys have gone though this, correct??

LOL!! The struggle is real man
Why??? Because you are a horrible person and shouldn't be allowed to have either! Pick one and send me the other. I will take care of either of them for you......though the rifles would be easier to explain to the wife :D. lol

Meh .... after a while your wife wont care and things will go on. My wife has accepted it, as well as it helping with PTSD as well. I force myself to calm down and relax to shoot the targets. Really is a therapy thing at this point for me.

It is therapy for me as well.
It’s equivalent to medicine no question at all.

Like many here, I find a place where all other anxiety ceases, worry stops, anger quiets and frustration lessens when the cross hairs settle on the bullseye 🎯 and I exhale, wait for the heartbeat to go and squeeze the trigger.

A psychiatrist runs about $385 an hour without insurance. Once you have the equipment, CPHP's only run a little over a penny each.
