Getting reading to make a cement slab(shooting rest)

I have pick out the spot, Now i have everything i need under the tarp, 2x4s,re bar gravel, 4400 psi cement ect.

I'd have to pour a slab on the ground to hold such a table. We are on clay and rocks, winter heave means digging down at minimum of 4' to pull rocks or that rock is coming right thru your slab!

Good luck and show us your final build, please.

That isnt the table,This is going to be the new table., i will post picks as i go, thank you.

As the year goes by and the sun changes its path i like to move around for that .. found kinda north facing at best . A guy told me to look at solar panel position maps in your area to check the cycle position of the sun travel.. you sure hate to find your permanent stand is facing wrong to shoot clearly or blinded , ect by the sun most all day .. sometimes no choice if shooting area is restrictive like small narrow yard or neighbors close.

The sun rises' from straight ahead and sets behind me.The pic was taken summer afternoon. The 1st pic is the spot for the slab looking down range. LOL no neighbors here! The last 3 are just showing how nice it is to live in a tri county farming community.
