Curious What’s Considered Decent Accuracy

I recently got a brand new RAW Chassis Rifle in .22. I’m shooting the JSB 25.39 grain pellets at an average of 940fps. I’m just setting at a solid table with the rifle on an Atlas Bipod. I’m not a competition shooter by any stretch. I plink and shoot birds. This is my best 10 shot group at 40 yards. I’m happy with it

What pressure are you filling too? Found my RAW which I have tuned down to shoot 18.13"s @ 950 fps will shoot 1/2" groups all day at 50 yds. if I do my part, and I do not fill past 200 bar. Was doing the same thing when shooting the 25's. Anything over 200 bar was shooting like I was shooting buckshot! That group at 40 yds. ain't nothing to be ashamed of.

My personal "contentment" accuracy with a rifle is 2 MOA. Would like to get 1MOA at least once. My best to date of any gun, PB or air powered, Was my first session with my .22 M-rod. JSB Jumbos was 3/4" at 50 yards (1.5 MOA). One 10 shot group that good, all the others I shot that day were 1.0-1.25". Dead calm wind and perfect target lighting.

I’m filling to 250 bar which is what the tech at RAW said was recommended. I should do some checking but I haven’t noticed the accuracy changing that much as the pressure drops

This is fairly objective question, given that your have a higher end target gun then “descent” accuracy to me is <1.5 MOA, MOA is start of good accuracy and 1/2 MOA is start of GREAT accuracy.

From your picture the widest part of the group is about 3 pellets wide so C2C of 0.44 inch which is MOA at 40 yards or good accuracy or better than descent.

I’m happy with decent accuracy. I have a 3/4” spinner target I can hit pretty regularly at 65 yards. I’m happy with that because that’ll hit a sparrow or starling.
