Fx impact mk3 ?

Not sure where to post troubleshooting, need help. Fx impact mk3
The cocking lever is jammed forward after a few shots. now It will only cock back half way, but will go forward all the way. The cartridge is stuck. I removed the barrel and sleeve just as if need to when double load and still did not fix the problem. Any advice would be great.

If something is stuck badly you might have to do a partial disassembly to get it out. Don't try using the cocking lever with any pressure to try to clear it. I'd focus on working from the top down. getting the pic rail on top off, then long plate below it then maybe the screw that holds the probe holder out if needed (requires heat) Use metric Allen keys, or send it in to get fixed.

I've had a pellet or slug get stuck halfway between the probe and transfer port on another gun that described exactly what you're dealing with.

But really shouldn't take long to get it apart if you're mechanically inclined at all.

I’m really thinking about shipping it out to Utah. It’s got pressure creep and seems to be getting worst. I’m super careful on any binding pressure, thank goodness or I could have made it worst. It’s new and I been only using it for 3 for months but bought it back in may 2022.

I Follow your advice on the pic rail and top plate and I got it to come unstuck. It’s back to fully assembled and working as intended. I did go over all the moving parts and I’m not sure what was stuck besides I can see springs and pins inside the trigger assembly area that can bind. The pellet probe pin checked out good too. Thanks for helping me get back onto the field tomorrow. I can go for now with the pressure creep till season is over.
Being able to trouble shoot and fix double load pellets and now taking the top plate apart is a Good Feel for me.
Big thanks you Glem.Chally

Jay,
Can't find a caliber mentioned, but if .25, the magazine might be at fault. My M3 factory (28-round) magazine was double-feeding and a forum search revealed that FX had re-designed the .25 magazine to 25-rounds to correct the problem. FX replaced mine, under warranty, no feeding problems since. Other calibers are not affected. WM

I will put in a new order for one. Can’t afford this to happen again on the field.

The only way an FX mag can double feed is if it's done by the operators hand. It can't feed more than one pellet per stroke. Can it fail to pick up a round? Yeah. Can you cock it twice and double feed it? Yes.

But I agree the 28 shot .25 mags had issues and were redesigned. I still have and use one with an Orion insert.

Glem,
Thanks for helping, as you did, consider you part of the "good soul" of this forum. WM
Jay,
FX states they won't automatically replace a 28-round magazine with the redesigned 25-round, the owner must be having a problem, which you clearly are. Like Glem, I replaced the 28-round internal wheel with a 25-round redesign from Orion the Iguana Hunter, since FX didn't want the original magazine returned. So, now I have two 25-round magazines, both feeding perfectly. WM
