Uragan (updates as I learn the gun)

I can't tell you how pleased I have been with my compact in .177. The stock moderator is great, but the Sumo I have on it now takes it to another level of quiet.

The only other PCP I have is an FX Impact MKII (.25 & .22 barrels) and it pains me to say that Uragan gets the majority of my love and attention.

When you figure out how to safely "tune" your Uragan I will be grateful for whatever info you can share. I think I know how to do it, but don't want to mess up a good thing.
I like my lil carbon fiber Uragan.177 so much I’m going to convert it to an FT platform - yes it does get all the love

Wrenching that screw clockwise did not further increase my FPS with my 10.34 gr. pellets (maxes out at 870 with plenty of room to continue turning). Wrenching it CCW did eventually lower my FPS.

I did did learn the hard way to make sure air cylinder is COMPLETELY EMPTY before unscrewing.

Unless there is is another way to increase FPS , then .177 15.5 gr. slugs at 850 FPS won’t be achieved. Can’t get them going faster than 675 FPS by adjusting hammer spring tension alone.
The nsa slugs in my FAC Uragan 177 would get stuck in the barrel. They seem a bit large. The 13 grain knockouts at 800 fps are deadly WAY past 100 yards. I’ve shot a fair number of starlings at 176 yards

Have a problem am trying to figure out… I slip the regulator out of its housing so I can better have access to the locking screw and adjustor screw. Set my reg; screwed everything back in place. Easy peasy, so it seemed up to that point.

Go to air up U1, and air is coming out of the barrel; confirmed it’s actually coming out of the transfer port(?) as I can hear it when lever/pellet probe is pulled back/open.

Seems there’s nothing holding the air back to keep it in the tank, etc. What am I missing here? Does the reg need to be oriented in a certain position as it lies in the stock/housing (butt plate area)? Did I not push it back into house far enough? Will have to pull it apart again later tonight to have another look.

Figured it out… had to bump start it like a motorcycle. Or beading a tire onto wheels. Lol. Weird but that’s what to took.

Cocked the gun. Blasted air in from my tank, and almost simultaneously bump the butt of that stock onto cardboard ground… I hear a click, and she filled with no leak or problems. No idea how or why; just read it in some other post.

What are you talking about?
De-gassed the gun?

-Degassed the gun.
-Removed the reg, to increase reg. Set and re-installed.
-Now gun won’t air up; I can feel and hear air rushing out of barrel/ tp, as am trying to fill it from my bottle.

To get it to fill and hold pressure, I had to bump the stock/butt right as I fill her up. I hear a click, and she started to fill up (held pressure). Again not sure how /why that needs to be but it worked. Shoot’n happy she is.
