Home from NC show

I had a great time talking and hanging out with 007s , beerthief , grackle, and rob. I purchased to much as I knew I would haha but only went the first day instead of both as I had planned. Scotty1 I was really looking forward to meeting you but cannot recall if we did or not . You are very close bye as well lol.

On the last day of the show me and my son decided or got distracted should I say with the new knives , the quackenbush, the scopes and the crossmans we purchased from you guys and others. We spent the whole day tinkering and plinking at the house with all the new toys. He pointed out I did not sale anything or even try really just purchased more stuff and smiled at me. I asked him if he was complaining and he just laughed and asked me if was going to shoot or talk all day haha.

It was a great time for sure. Oh and the steve cochran stock already has a new air rifle in it not the one it came in . ;)

This show was a treat! Got to put meet some new folks as well as participants from years past. It is always a hoot to talk air guns with other shooters. I look forward to future shows and buying, selling, trading, and yakking it up with fellow air gunners. A lot of the mainstream people don't understand us and never will, that's OK we'll just keep having fun with our "toys". I appreciate those of you that traveled a long way to attend. PS: beer thief, I have a great deal on a scope for you next year ! Also, sorry I didn't buy one of Rob in NC's knives, they are a work of art. Thanks again to all who made it!

Glad you made it home safely, sir. Was great getting to meet you and the other new faces, along with the regulars there!
Thank you so very much for everything as usual, it was great being there and I enjoyed talking to everyone especially after these last 2 and 1/2 years of nothing but turmoil and chaos. Thank you so much for Tony Mac Daniel, his wife and everyone that helped put this show together. It's never easy when a person puts their whole heart into something this great for those e of that love this sport/hobby.

If you shot a Hw 110 .177 cal with an Athlon 2-12 scope.......... it was mine.................and if you shot it, you'll know why it wasn't for sale...... a sweet little air gun.
I wondered if that was you, well thanks again, very nice indeed! That Helos is a an awesome scope as well!

Always a pleasure talking with you, sir... and yes... Many thanks to Tony, wife and crew. He always says without us, there would be no show... well... without HIM and his crew...there would be no show.

Many thanks to Tony , Karen and Casey for all the preparation and hard work to make the show happen. Also thanks for all the vendors and customers that drove long miles and took time from their work and families to attend. These are the folks that make this show a success. I'm already looking forward to next years show.

Hey Scott, looked for you guys Saturday, wanted you to see the scabbard I had that worked with the knife you gifted me. I hope to post a pitcher or two latter once my camera is charged. Appreciate you my friend,

I had a great time too. Thanks to Tony and family, it was a very smooth show. Thanks to everybody who stopped by my tables.
It was more than great being able to attend this years show seeing that we've lost so much within the last 3 years. The greatest part of it all was being able enjoy what's left behind and enjoying each others company as it was in years past. Everyone that was there to enjoy the show was supposed to be there because there may not be another time. So in closing, thank you very much Bob-in-WV for making the trip because I know that it wasn't easy and we all miss Joe-in-WV as well!

Also had a fabulous time at Hickory! Tony's gang did a GREAT job as always, the weather was lovely, and SO nice to see old pals - some of whom I hadn't laid eyes on in three pandemic-muddled years.

I picked up one of those essential collector uber-classics, a very minty boxed .22 Webley Senior. Not a pistol I'll ever be able to shoot well, but the real joy of these all-milled steel beauties might be just eyeballing them, LOL...more sculpture than weapon. Also found a NOS factory replacement spring at the show, complete with factory hang tag.

My other new friend is a 1966-vintage HW 35 Export with 22-inch barrel and walnut stock. Likely imported by Air Rifle Headquarters back in the day. Fantastic condition, no sights but again got lucky - found a front one at the show, and have some rears in the stash.
