Flies, flies, everywhere

Catchy title, eh? Well it's fly shooting season in the basement (cold and miserable here in Michigan). So today starts fly shooting season.

No weather issue in LA. at present. { 70 degrees and sunny } We regularly shoot the flies at 20 yds. with our 10 meter rifles. The target we use has different size flies. Have to just about need a center shot to kill the fly for it to count. no legs or wings. Can use a front rest with no rear bag. Can't support the butt in your shoulder. 50 flies per card. Talk about a challenge!!

Does the mulch and ballistic rubber dampen the noise significantly? What thickness of ballistic rubber are you using?
Yes, they are very quiet (well, they are pcps!) The 22 box has 1/2” rubber face. The 25 cal box has 1” rubber face. The 177 uses only 1/4” foam board as the 177 pistols are weaker and bounce from the ballistic rubber.

I added rubber mulch. Doesn't come with it.

Cheaper models on Amazon. Search for "Super Target Systems"
