Uragan issue and uragan testing today

Loving the uragan. 30, it's a laser and rugged... except the screw holds the forward most portion of the cocking lever to rifle came loose and I lost it while shooting. Guess I shoulda done a bolt check when I got it....

Anyone know what size the screw is so i can replace it lol? @zx10wall ?

Anyways

Is the screw not listed in your owners manual parts diagram ? When you replace it put a dot of Permatex Ultra Black RTV on the threads and you'll never lose it again but it'll still be easy to remove. Keep the RTV in your freezer until you need it again to prevent any hardening. Available at walmart or any auto parts store.

CT,
Nice shooting, I never checked screws on my Uragan .25 but did re-locate lever to right side, so might have got it by chance. Last three hunting action shots from mine took 3 crows out. Shooting JSB 33.95 grain @ 850, hit one, the others landed in tree loudly protesting, got two more before the rest took off. Gotta love that Uragan. WM

Nice group at 72.

Is there another screw that is identical to it somewhere on the mechanism, that you could take out and go to the hardware store to replace it? Our local Ace has a huge selection of metric screws including set screws. I have made reduced tip diameter set screws like these by chucking the screw in my drill and turning down the front portion with a fine toothed file.

I have seen black silicone used on some high dollar optics over the years to hold small screws in place.

I got the rifle used , I'll see if I can download a parts break down to see if maybe AoA or someone has one.
