Ok so if I keep my Impact in the truck this winter for some pesting and rabbit hunting will the temp changes do any damage to it? How bad will point of impact be affected?
Only 20 degrees?!?! man it must be nice@CharlieF, that's weird. I have a M3 and in the colder temps I find my first regulator gauge increases 20 bar. Colder temps in the low 40's. I'm in a region where I can get a 20 degree difference in one day, going from low 40's to high 60's in a day.
What do you make of this?
Regulator with the plastic (Delrin) piston?@CharlieF, that's weird. I have a M3 and in the colder temps I find my first regulator gauge increases 20 bar. Colder temps in the low 40's. I'm in a region where I can get a 20 degree difference in one day, going from low 40's to high 60's in a day.

@L.Leon A picture is worth a thousand words. Nice photos!Just let your gun acclimate to the outside temperature. Your POI will change in cold weather. Just verify by checking your zero in your actual shooting conditions. My rig in winter.

Interesting. In both low and high temps, humidity plays a part.
PV=nRTIf you only feed your gun Nitrogen there is almost NO pressure change due to temperature variations
