Wildly inaccurate caliber too. This is the best 14 shot group I could get at 25 yards from a FWB barreled HW100:

If most of your shots are within 20yards not sure installing a reg is worth it? I wouldnt think you'd see much of a poi change throughout your shot cycle at that close range. On top of that now you've added one more thing that will require servicing in the future. I had a kral NP03 that I installed a huma reg on it. Because the air cylinder was already small the reg took up so much room it knocked my shot count down. I ended up removing it as I felt it didn't help me in that situation. If you do install the reg let me know how it works out for you and if you think it made a difference!

I've shot it out to 100 with pretty good success. I keep it under 20 with the supersonic wadcutters. They open up quickly much past that. I've got several guns I could use the regulator in, but I'll be sure to let you know if I decide to put it in the Stormrider.

Useless caliber, totally unfit for hunting and everything else.

I've often heard that "one man's trash (garbage) is another man's treasure'' and when I look at the Olympics and "10 meter rifles", I beg to differ! What I've grown to appreciate about this country, and as an Viet Nam Air Force Veteran, I more than appreciate the freedoms that we have and the right to choose. Its' also been proven for many decades that the .177 has always stood the test of times and it's going to be around for many more years to come. From my own personal experience, I know what the ".177" is capable of performing what what it isn't. I more than appreciate everyone that's take the time to elaborate on the said pellet and it's ability and or inability to do what it was designed to do.

My post was meant to be a joke, I'm a very vocal supporter of the .177 here......
Every rifle in my following posts is a .177 and all 11ft/lb or less at that.

Thank you for your "bait and switch post" because your work speaks for itself. There was a time when I would post almost all of my kills with .177s but I thought I would give it a break. I still take pictures of my kills as I did on just today with 1-shot 1-kill on a grey at 21 yards with my Brocock Concept Light in .177. I still have my HW97 in .177, my FWB 124D in .177, the FWB300 as well and I refuse to get rid of them, BTW, I had the HW77 as well back in the day. The pictures of your tools of the trade are breath taking and thanks for sharing!

In the spring next year I will try them in my Diana 45 along with Hornets. I have only heard good about them.
