EdGun Leshiy 2 problems with significant air loss with each trigger pull?

So my L2 is only about 14 months old and out of warranty sadly, it started yesterday with each pull of the trigger a large volume of air also comes out, Brian at EdGun said to adjust the stopper screw, but still it has the problem. The roller still seems round and I don't see any debris and tried different mags, the barrel end is flush etc...

Any other suggestions or will I have to send it in to EdGun West for repairs, any ideas of the cost?

Yes, these triggers are more like pistol triggers than your “match grade” variety. A quick pull and follow through is needed for no air loss, and decent accuracy. Takes some time to get used to.

exactly, it has a nice clean break. now it doesn't and it now does 2-3 round burst but the mag doesn't rotate

no it isn't even with a quick pull of the trigger it almost seems like it's stuck and lose about 50-70 bars with even shot.

Y'all forgot to mention that the trigger waste-gate can be adjusted. This can also minimize the noise level and wasted air. Loosen the grub screw underneath the air cylinder, back out (increase the length) of the grub screw on the rear, tighten the grub screw underneath to lock it in place. Note that backing out the grub screw too much will restrict the airgun from firing. I like to adjust mine “just enough” to fire.

Brian sent me a kit, and I just replaced the plastic parts + the spring last week.

that was the first thing Brian told me to do, but it didn't work sadly enough

You might need to open up the valve and check all the parts. It could be a stuck nozzle or maybe a part in the valve. Tear in an o-ring, something basically preventing the valve from closing up in a timely manner.

When this happened to me I had tear the valve down and adjust the trigger stopper. Just the trigger stopper was insufficient. Something got stuck because of the dump.

This video shows how to adjust the stopper.

In my case, the dump from me riding had made the valve stick open. Still bot entirely sure why, but hasn't happened again.

Tearing down and reassembling following this video:

Fixed it for me.

If you've never done the before an important note! You MUST empty the gun of all air before messing with the valve!

40 seconds for degassing instructions.
11:55 for instructions and removing the brace and then valve.

thank you, i just disassembled and checked everything, nothing was broke like the ball, springs or struts, maybe it jammed up?i did the stopper adjustment previously first and didn't work. i'll try to test it out later and see if it worked from the value dissasembly

No problem. Valve is easy, but there are a bunch of little pieces so be aware of that, but you'll be fine

very true, the small little ball/bearings and so forth - been out of town on vacation and hopefully test it out this weekend. so far with help from edgun west, no response at all for the past 4 days

well it still has the same problem, been messing with it all day today between conference calls at home/work.

i'm sending it to edgunwest and sadly it'll cost me $300 initially for the repair and it's only a little over a year old and well-taken care of and less than 300 rounds.

quite disappointed and kind of pissed off with it being over $2500 and it's a paperweight, looking into FX next.

Not sure for other higher PCP's, but the FX airguns and the Leshiy2 not really for starters or not-tinkerers. That has a price regardless if under warranty or not.
My very first PCP was the Impact MK2, I wanted to learn it. But I was maintaining our cars and mechanics for decades.

so it seems like one of my Poly Mags red tips was defective and got logged into the value, therefore causing all the problems. would this be a one-off defective ammo? i will just stick to NSA bullets and slugs, JSB's that are proven to work and not a gimmick maybe?

i'm kinda kicking myself also since I disassembled the value and didn't even catch that red plastic piece stuck there.

ETA" Brian said it took him quite a while to find out what was wrong too, now i don't feel too stupid, lol
