Cant change the barrels on the guns just to accurate, Except the Mutant, Its accurate just trying to figure out which one is the CZ barrel , Both china barrels got ripped off. LOL. Oh I had the Mutant and bought a CZ barrel from a guy in Florida

I would also like to join. Still got my OG mutant with CZ200 barrel that Dman reworked for me back then. And just recently got a Veteran both standard and in .22

You guys with the Mutants, How do you know what barrel you have in your gun..
Did XZ@*A Tell you the barrel type in your Mutant or do you have a red and green dot on your barrel?

If I remembered correctly if have the 3 dimples near the receiver, that’s a CZ. If not, it’s a Linstone. Those are the choices back then when they first arrived.
Feel free to correct me, if that’s not correct.

The problem Is, when it's a Compact they cut the barrel down and remoce the dimples. I have a compact and read online somewhere(,got to look again) - the barrel has no marks even when they are cz.

I bought my own .177 CZ barrel from pyramid air and sent it and mutant to dman for the machine work. are there any more .177 conversion owners on AGN besides me?

You got a rare bird a 177 Mutant, I know there was two or three kits offered to convert a 22 Mutant to 177, I was a day late and a dollar short, So there might be as many as four 177 Mutants out there somewhere.

There was 5 .177 kits left over from the mutant line. So yes there are 4 other .177 stateside.

I wonder where the other 177 Mutants are, Its been a while since I had mine out and shooting Month or more, I went through about 15 magazines today, AS always the little Mutant impressed me , I have barrel that I bought for 200 $ that should be the CZ barrel in it now,

hacked stocks, why = wanted more of a finger slots on the pistol grip, the rest was just personal preference - the long gun started out as a gray laminated but never liked it so lots of experimenting, different stains etc. got bored one weekend I guess.

I bought a after market stock for my Mutant, I think it was a Michael stock, Very light weight about 1 lb , Tried my hand at staining need to re sand and try again. Even the wife says its ugly, Should I post a picture?

Id start with a stripper and sand from there. A Lotta work ahead you there.
I'd like to seethe wood underneath. If it's decent....true oil finish is good way to go.
